Catherine Goslan is the principal designer leading Comfort & Joy Interiors. Clients value her friendly and approachable manner, integrity, professionalism, inventiveness and attention to detail. She is a graduate of York University and Sheridan College, and is an Accredited Member of the Canadian Decorators' Association (CDECA).
Catherine started out her career designing and building computer software for use within Fortune 500 companies, and advanced through corporate ranks to hold management leadership roles before deciding to alter her career path to pursue her passion for interior design and decorating. Catherine’s experience in the computer field led her to be among the first in the design field to utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology. Using state-of the-art CAD software, she creates floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings and simulations that help clients clearly envision design proposals and better understand how the resulting interiors will function for them. This streamlines the design process and provides peace of mind for her clients, as they have a much better idea of what to expect.
Catherine is driven by the creative challenge of unlocking the potential that exists in her clients’ homes and tailoring the spaces to meet their unique personalities and the functional demands of their lifestyles. She loves helping clients transform their surroundings into spaces they truly enjoy coming home to, and want to share with family and friends.
